BJ’s Restaurants, Inc. (NASDAQBJRI) currently owns and operates 102 casual dining restaurants under the BJ's Restaurant & Brewery.

The Company operates several microbreweries which produce and distribute BJ's handcrafted beers throughout the chain.

BJ's is credited with creating the "Pizookie", a fresh baked cookie (white chocolate and macadamia nut or chocolate chip), with vanilla ice cream, served in a pizza style pan.

History

BJ's was founded in 1978 and first opened in Orange County, California. By 1996, seven restaurants had opened between San Diego and Los Angeles.

BJ’s Restaurants Foundation

The BJ's Restaurants Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to support charities benefiting children's healthcare and education, with primary focus on the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. In addition, the Foundation recognizes and rewards the volunteer efforts of BJ's Restaurants team members across the country as they help to give back to the communities in which BJ’s restaurants do business.
